Text Messaging Pilot Program
At IPI, we are proactive in staying on the forefront of both technology and compliance challenges. For those of you that attended the Compliance round table at summer conference, I provided a quick overview of a FREE (yes, Free) 3 month texting pilot program that I negotiated with a company called Hearsay Social. You will receive a blast email later today from Hearsay providing some additional information on the program and how to sign up (it really is simple to signup - send an email to signup@hearsaycorp.com with your contact info and ask them to set you up for the IPI pilot program). This program will allow you to text with your clients and still be compliant with industry and firm policies and procedures.
As you know, currently texting is not an approved method of communication with your clients. This pilot program will allow you to test drive the system for FREE for 3 months to see if it would be beneficial for your business. We are looking for 20-25 advisors who are willing to try it out and provide feedback on the system. Projected monthly cost after the pilot program is still to be finalized, but it will probably be in the $15-20 range per month. I will negotiate as hard as I can to make it an affordable and useful tool for our advisors, but I need your help to signup, review and use it with your clients for the next 3 months to see if the technology will be a useful tool for you.
